TINTON FALLS, NJ – Compassion-First Pet Hospitals is proud to announce the addition of three new locations to its growing family of pet hospitals across the country. The latest additions to the Compassion-First family are the Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AESC) of Parker, Colorado and Upstate Veterinary Specialists (UVS), with locations in Greenville, South Carolina and Asheville, North Carolina.
These new additions will bring even greater convenience and diversity to the already more than 25 pet hospitals that make up the Compassion-First network. As a 24-hour veterinary hospital, AESC has been offering emergency and critical care, as well as surgery, internal medicine, and other specialty care such as radiology, rehabilitation therapy, ultrasound, neurology, oncology, and more to communities in the Parker, Colorado region since 2001. Both UVS locations are AAHA-accredited multi-specialty hospitals, and were honored in 2011 as the AAHA Specialty Hospital of the Year.
"We are united by a common passion: to put pet owners and their pets at the center of care," says Compassion-First President and CEO John Payne, who believes that both AESC and UVS will be valuable additions to the Compassion-First family. Founded in 2014, Compassion-First helps all of its member hospitals thrive by combining resources and information, while allowing each individual hospital to retain the integrity and unique character that have helped them to succeed in their region. "We see a future where medical collaboration occurs seamlessly every day, with experts from across the country," Payne continues. "We envision all hospitals having the latest in medical equipment and technology available, while the medical decisions remain with the veterinarians and their teams."
In Compassion-First's unique collaborative model, all hospital owners remain active and continue their leadership roles in their respective hospitals while also contributing to the growth of the entire network by fostering collaboration and educating other hospitals about best practices and new techniques. Compassion-First takes each new addition to its family of hospitals very seriously, and is looking forward to the contributions that these newest members can bring to their communities and to the entire Compassion-First family.
