One of the Largest Long Island Hospitals Joins the Growing Family.
TINTON FALLS, N.J. – Compassion-First Pet Hospitals announced today, the addition of Long Island Veterinary Specialists (LIVS), an AAHA accredited referral and emergency hospital located in Plainview, N.Y., to its growing family of hospitals.
Founded in 1998, LIVS is housed in a 30,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility offering emergency and critical care, integrative medicine, internal medicine, interventional radiology, neurology/neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology, radioiodine, rehabilitation and pain management, and surgery. LIVS is open 24 hours a day and is staffed by more than 180 professionals dedicated to advancing the medical care of pets. Known for its innovation and desire to elevate veterinary care, LIVS has a solid reputation for constantly advancing key research studies and is best known for pioneering medical infrared imaging, retinal surgery and nano hip replacement.
